What instruments can I take lessons on?
You can enroll in one-on-one music lessons on the following instrument: Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Voice, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, and Trombone
What is the cost per lesson?
Lessons are $145/month for weekly 30 minute lessons, billed in monthly blocks
Is there a minimum age to start?
We recommend 6+, but have made exceptions in the past. Please contact our lesson director HERE if you would like more information on starting under 6 years of age.
Are you also a music instrument store?
The Delaware Music Academy is the education department of the Delaware Music Center. If you would like to speak with someone about purchasing an instrument, please click HERE.
What are your instructor's qualifications?
All DMA staff have degrees from top universities in their applicable fields, 5+ years teaching experience, and have been subject to BCI background checks.
Where are you located?
We are located just west of the main intersection in downtown Delaware, behind Sherwin-Williams paint store.
